  • Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs – the blurb makes it sound bizarre and worrisome, I’m not interested enough to pick it up. – REMOVE –
  • The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien – probably the most well-known fantasy series, I’ve seen movies and I really liked them. I have to be honest though, I’m not at all excited to read this book. – REMOVE –
  • It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini – I’m keeping this one on my TBR, I’m curious to read how the topic of mental health is done in this story. – KEEP –

Down the TBR Hole #1

I first found Down the TBR Hole on The Book Cover Girls blog. I immediately knew that I have to do it also because my TBR is so, so long and I haven’t checked what’s on it for so long! It doesn’t even serve the purpose of the TBR, because I rarely check it before I choose my next read.

My To Read Shelf: 1224 books

That’s way too many, this many books on TBR are not serving a purpose of TBR because I have no control over it. I no longer use it as a place where I can find what book to read next. It’s just a dump of all the books I found interesting at one point. So this year I’m going to clean up my TBR. And this meme is the perfect thing for it.

The Secret Life of Bees
by Sue Monk Kidd

832098

I have a paperback of this book, it was a gift from my aunt. She loves this book and sometimes asks me if I finally read it. And I want to read it, so I’m keeping it on my TBR.
