Exciting releases – July 2018

This is my roundup of the books I’m really happy are coming out in July. They are all so different, but I hope all of them will impress me.

My Year of Rest and Relaxation
by Ottessa Moshfegh

Why am I excited? Because it’s set in New York City, involves weird psychiatrist and her cure for character’s despair, and the title is just perfect.

How to Be Famous
by Caitlin Moran

Why am I excited? Because How to Build a Girl was brilliant and Moran is a funny and smart writer.

The Incendiaries
by R. O. Kwon

Why am I excitedBecause the main character joins a cult.

The Cheerleaders
by Kara Thomas

Why am I excited? Because the synopsis and reviews promise many deaths, secrets and plot twists.

The Loneliest Girl in the Universe
by Lauren James

Why am I excited? Because blurb says “A surprising and gripping sci-fi thriller with a killer twist” and I’m here for it. Also, the cover is gorgeous.
